It will also replace the Integrated Budget Costing System (IBCS), leading to a more precise and results-oriented approach to resource allocation and management.How can you make a difference?Specific Responsibilities/Job Details:

  • Prepare summary level presentations and facilitate future state system design and process workshops to obtain client acceptance.
  • Prepare excel uploads after checking for entries provided by offices and coordinate with other divisions to ensure correctness.
  • Perform and/or oversee; configuration of SAP applications, creation of positive/negative unit test scripts, and execution of unit tests.
  • Train client staff on design, application functions and configuration.
  • Create and/or support creation of integration/user acceptance test scenarios and scripts as well as facilitate and provide direct support for user testing.
  • Create and/or support creation of cutover plan and scripts as well as facilitate and provide direct support for production migration and go-live stabilization.
  • Provide status updates on assigned work to management and, when required, act as a project manager on small to medium-sized projects.
  • Perform in cross-functional team environments where strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports for multiple users
  • Perform other related duties as required.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…Required Skills (summary, 60 – 80 chars):

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field required.
  • Minimum 4+ years of SAP Finance processes
  • Solid understanding of accounting business processes
  • Solid understanding of SAP accounting (classic GL and/or New GL, A/P, A/R and Controlling).
  • Experience in SharePoint and related technologies
  • Testing experience in multiple projects
  • Experience in documenting business requirements, testing results and creation of training documents. Knowledge of software like uPerform is preferred.
  • Baseline understanding of full SAP ERP and related SAP software.
  • Expertise in implementation project life-cycles including; blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support.
  • Knowledge of SAP project management methodology.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (written & verbal) across multiple audiences.
  • Ability to influence, lead and communicate at all levels and across multiple lines of business.
  • High motivation, enthusiasm, and dedication to deliver results within strict timeframes.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced matrix environment including managing across multiple geographies, functions & organizations often outside ‘standard’ working hours.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
