Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Senior Manager, HEF Finance will act as a senior advisor and finance lead to the Home Equity Financing (HEF) business and leadership team, supporting HEF business in understanding the trade-offs for investment decisions (project expenditures, investment opportunities, capital optimization decisions, etc.)This roll will provide in-depth sensitivity analysis on key business metrics (mortgage spread, ROE, etc.) for the purpose of highlighting ways to improve profitability, as well as lead the development of financial forecasts/plans and reporting of monthly financial results, and act as the point of contact for finance related issues.What you will do?

  • Provide useful and timely financial advice to HEF Leadership team.
  • Ensure profitability benchmarks are understood.
  • Work with the business to drive product development, product pricing and cost management strategies through ongoing analysis, measurement, and reporting.
  • Ensure full understanding of Corporate Treasury’s Transfer Pricing policies. Single point of contact for ensuring proper allocations are done and highlight impact on product/business profitability.
  • Provide clear and concise driver-based forecasting and financial reporting to senior executives to drive greater financial performance. Provide insights into key levers to influence and drive incremental profitability.
  • Support business partners in development of their overall business strategies.
  • Work with Product Control and Financial Control partners to ensure controls and governance are maintained.
  • Drive consolidation of management reporting for Personal Financing Products segment.
  • Key Member of Home Equity Senior Management Team, Product Management teams and Client Strategies teams.
  • Lead efforts to simplify and fully understand the complex cost structures – direct and indirect spend.

  • Professional accounting designation and/or MBA desired
  • Demonstrated management experience at senior levels.
