You’ll love it here too.The opportunityThe Manager, Identity & Access Management is responsible for leading the ongoing operations of the CWB Financial Group centralized Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, technology platform, and to support the IAM program. It is the responsibility of the Manager, Identity & Access Management to ensure that the IAM function and service portfolio provides secure centralized systems for onboarding and offboarding, identity provisioning, Single-Sign On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), privileged account management, and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA).Specific AccountabilitiesAccountability #1 – Identity & Access Management TechnologiesOngoing maintenance of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) program including procedures relating to the onboarding and offboarding of digital identities, maintenance of identity profiles, assignment of role-based access to resources, and application access provisioningDevelopment and maintenance of policies, processes, and technologies to ensure privileged access to sensitive information is enforced, maintained, and auditedOngoing operations of technologies and processes to support enhanced authentication mechanisms including but not limited to: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single-Sign On (SSO) authentication, remote access, and Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutionsAs a key member of the Information Security Office leadership team, you will provide guidance on the implementation and best practice related to Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) technologies including SWA (Secure Web Authentication), Kerberos, directory services such as Active Directory and LDAP, and identity provider exchange standards including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.Ownership of reports and metrics to communicate the operational status of the IAM function to the Chief Information Security OfficerAccountability #2 – IAM Program DeliverySupport the transition of legacy and decentralized applications into the IAM service portfolioCollaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) and the IAM Project Owner by supporting the IAM roadmap and guide prioritization for the onboarding of applicationsFollow meticulous delivery processes including phases such as design & requirements gathering, Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management, and go-live stabilization and sustainmentSkills and competencies that will take you furtherEducationPost secondary diploma or degree in the field of Computing Science or equivalent experienceRequired: (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or commitment to obtain in first two years of employmentDesired (one of): Level 1 Okta Certified Professional, Level 2 Okta Certified Administrator, Level 3 Okta Certified ConsultantProfessional ExperienceMinimum of 5+ years of Information Technology experience with at least three (3+) of those years in a team lead or managerial experience in an operational Identity & Access Management teamFamiliarity with information security frameworks and standards including the NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO 27000 series, and/or COBITApplicable experience with enterprise information security technologies including identity platforms (e.g. Okta or Azure Active Directory), cloud-based identity providers, Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems, multi-factor technologies such as Okta Verify, RSA, Microsoft Authenticator, U2F and FIDO2 (e.g. Yubikey) and enterprise password managersExperience with designing and maintaining automated workflows related to identity lifecycle management (onboarding, changes, offboarding), provisioning of digital identities with integrated systems, access request and entitlement, and password securityExperience with enterprise technology infrastructure, HR systems, access security, remote access solutions, data and information security, and information systems auditingFamiliarity with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) IT service management frameworkExperience with the financial services industry is an assetPersonal CompetenciesExceptional written, verbal, listening, interpersonal, and leadership skillsAbility to use critical judgement to make decisions and solve problems involving various levels of complexity, ambiguity, and riskGood analytical skills and strong attention to detailAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentAbility to work independentlyAbility to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly languageWhy work with us?Your success is our obsession!
