Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher. 2. Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure the smooth running of the class. 3. Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment. 4. Support students with their learning and provide assistance as needed. 5. Monitor student behaviour and address any issues that arise. 6. Communicate effectively with teaching staff and school management.Required Qualifications:– A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check – Good communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively – Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environmentEducation:– GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathematicsExperience:– Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting preferredKnowledge and Skills:– Understanding of classroom management techniques – Ability to engage and motivate students – Strong organisational skills – Proficiency in using technology in the classroomWorking Conditions:– Part-time hours, typically during school hours – Work within a school environment – May require standing and walking for extended periodsAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
