Interview Date: 20/09/2024An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Registry team at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). The RVC is the UK’s largest and longest-established independent vet school and is a Member Institution of the University of London. The RVC offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing and biological sciences and CPD programmes in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.Following an internal restructure, the Registry is developing the Programme Management team. We are seeking a part-time Programme Administrator to work with the Programme Manager to improve service delivery in our fast-paced office environment. This key role will work with the PG Programme Manager. You will support general communication with students, maintain essential course information and administratively support quality assurance processes. You will assist teaching staff in the preparation and distribution of learning materials for students and support production of student transcripts and status reports. This role will help ensure the smooth running of teaching activities for the RVC.The successful post holder will have the ability to communicate confidently with a wide range of customers and have a high level of customer focus. You will be able to work methodically, follow set processes and procedures and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. A pro-active, flexible approach to your work is vital to deal with the competing demands and challenges of your daily work.Educated to A-Level standard or with equivalent experience, the successful post holder will have the ability to make decisions and work as part of a team, and plan, manage and prioritise workload when under pressure to meet deadlines. Previous experience of uploading information to a virtual learning environment (such as Moodle or other similar online platforms) would be beneficial, but not essential.Two positions available, based at either the Hawkshead or Camden campus and are offered on a part-time basis:14 hours per week – this role works with a second Postgraduate taught administrator as a job share; therefore, the role holder must be available to work on Mondays.17.5 hours per week – this role is Postgraduate research focused.Informal enquiries relating to this role can be directed to:Adam Hall, Assistant Registrar for Programme Management,We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role.
