Overview:Dunbia, is one of Europe’s leading and respected suppliers of top-quality Beef and Lamb products supplying national and international retail, commercial and foodservice markets.At Dunbia, we are unashamedly passionate about our business, and we welcome progressive individuals who will share our passion and contribute positively to the further success of the Company.At our Preston site we are seeking to recruit a Administration Assistant who will be responsible for supporting the national account manager with a wide range of administrative duties to aid the maintenance a strong key customer relationship. Reporting to the site Head of Commercial, this position will play an integral part in ensuring our customer service reporting is of the highest standards and where possible improve our administrative processes. The candidate must have strong organisational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Dunbia’s customer service contact, for our retail customer’s regional supply chain colleagues to support the order receipt process.
  • Undertake administrative duties to accurately prepare customer pricing files.
  • Assist with planning for customer promotional activity.
  • Produce and maintain weekly order forecasts using Dunbia’s planning tool.
  • Update and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including service level performance to the retail customer.
  • Prepare and organise samples for the retail customer.
  • Undertake any other supportive ad hoc requests from internal management or the customer.
  • Potential opportunity for development within the business.

Qualifications:Experience and Qualification:

  • Outstanding organisational skill and attention to detail.
  • A team player with the ability to interact with colleagues across a wide range of departments and businesses.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, communication.
  • Confident user of MS Office.
  • Ability to work under periods of high pressure and to manage workload effectively.
  • A self-managing proactive approach.

Essential Criteria:

  • Desirably 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of excel is essential.
  • An ambitious, customer focused team player.
  • The role may require ad hoc travel to other Dunbia sites, customers offices or retail stores, so a full driving license is required.

Working Environment:

  • Role based at Dunbia’s site in Preston.
  • Working with the National Account Manager and reporting directly to the site Head of Commercial
  • Full on the job training will be provided.
