We are offering an opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our team based in Mississauga, Ontario. The primary function of this role is to accurately manage all financial transactions, including customer credit applications, maintaining records, and resolving inquiries. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is paramount.Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records.
• Conduct account reconciliations and bank reconciliations regularly.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial reporting tasks.
• Conduct monthly end close procedures in a timely manner.
• Manage payroll operations ensuring all employees are paid correctly and on time.
• Utilize QuickBooks for various bookkeeping tasks.
• Continually monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Ensure all bookkeeping activities comply with financial regulations and standards.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is important

• Demonstrable Bookkeeping skills are required

• Data Entry proficiency is a must

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Ability to handle Month End Close tasks is essential

• Experience with Payroll processing is required

• Knowledge and experience with SAGE is important
