We support GFG regions in delivering a strong local commercial strategy, which focuses on driving commercial value and being the partner of choice for brands in GFG markets to achieve our vision of becoming the #1 fashion and lifestyle destination in our markets. This role plays a key part in supporting the Head of Strategic Brand Partnerships in forming profitable long-term partnerships with the most relevant global brands and to position GFG as the partner of choice for brands.SCOPE OF ROLEWe are recruiting a Junior Account Manager to join our Strategic Brand Partnership Team based in London. The role will report into the Head of Strategic Brand Partnerships. The role will support the Head of Brand Partnerships with the relevant duties assigned that will contribute to driving commercial growth across strategic brands within the business. Main areas of focus; * Joint business planningYou will support the Head of Strategic Brand Partnerships in preparing the relevant data, briefing documents and performance insights and preparing joint business plan presentations that they will present to strategic brand partners. This will require strong communication skills with internal stakeholders, ability to manipulate data well in Excel and G-Sheets and create excellent memo’s and presentations using G-docs and G-slides. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the data and insights provided are correct and within the deadlines provided. * Analysing strategic brand performanceYou will be expected to analyse strategic brand performance across the business and provide in-depth assortment analysis with the ability to highlight opportunities and risks that will impact commercial performance and growth. This will require you to actively suggest trading solutions to promote growth across our top brands.HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED

  • Prepares deliverables for account meetings and briefing documents.
  • Supports in providing key data insights for joint business plans for head of strategic brand partnerships to present.
  • Runs and prepares data for reporting and analyses across strategic brands; including the ongoing tracking and reporting of sales, inventory and performance.
  • Assesses and monitors assortment quality identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Produces strategy roadmaps and develops tracking tools to monitor progress.
  • Interacts with colleagues within the strategic brand partnerships team, regions and other functions building strong relationships internally.
  • Supports senior team members on key projects.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for administrative questions and updates.

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Relevant commercial experience gained in a multi-brand e-commerce/marketplace environment with an understanding of the fashion retail sector.
  • Strong communicator with ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Highly numerate and analytical with ability to quickly read financial/data reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability in building presentation frameworks using Google Docs and Powerpoint.
  • Strong ability in using Microsoft excel.
  • Conscientious with an excellent attention to detail.
  • Great time management with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlines.
  • Self motivated.
  • Experience in G-suite and Microsoft office.
