As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping our students achieve their full potential.The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll collaborate with our teaching staff to deliver personalized support to students with diverse needs. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the classroom, working with students one-on-one or in small groups, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.ResponsibilitiesStudent Engagement:

  • Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups to aid their educational, social, and emotional growth.
  • Promote independence and resilience through structured activities and personalized assistance.
  • Cultivate a nurturing environment that builds student confidence and self-esteem.

Classroom Collaboration:

  • Work with teachers to plan and implement lessons that cater to the varied needs of our students.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom setting.
  • Track and report student progress, offering insights to the teaching team.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist students during transitions, breaks, and extracurricular activities.
  • Participate in staff meetings and continuous professional development.
  • Ensure adherence to the school’s safeguarding and welfare policies.

  • Is knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection.
