  • Servies as G-2 Intelligence Engagement Officer (IE), planning, coordinating and executing G-2 Partner Nation engagements.
  • Leads, manages and supervises the review and validation of all programmed activities within assigned region(s) to ensure alignment with the US Indo-Pacific Command Theater Campaign Plan.
  • Provides advice on foreign affairs activities and information generated from political, military and intelligence sources throughout USINDOPACOM AOR (Area of Responsibility).
  • Maintains working relationships and coordination with regionally oriented foreign policy and intelligence communities.
  • Coordinates, prepares, submits, and monitors annual Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) spend plan in coordination with USARPAC Security Cooperation Division, and .0017(Intelligence) and.0012 (Representational) fund managers.
  • Develops the engagement schedules, agendas, intelligence briefing topics, and coordinates the number and level of US and Foreign participants.
  • Coordinates with Partner Nations, Security Cooperation Division, and Component Services for all G-2 theater intelligence engagements, conferences, meetings, and related activities.
  • Prepares intelligence plans and orders in support of full spectrum operations, includes the following:
  • (1) Intelligence mission, organization, functions, and requirements.
  • (2) Assignment of intelligence tasks, policy, and direction for subordinate and supporting command.
  • (3) Coordinating instructions and proposed relationships of higher, adjacent, and supporting commands.
  • (4) Developing and coordinating the commands substantive, priority intelligence requirements (PIR) and other requirements (OR).

RequirementsConditions of Employment

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • May be subject to short notice recall during crisis situations and irregular work hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Overtime/shift work may be required.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) travel will be required 25% or less of the time.
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.

This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
