Job description
RSK Ordnance Management (RSK-OM) part of RSK Group, offers services within the bomb disposal and unexploded ordnance (UXO) sector, together with assessments of impacts relating to subsequent and possible ground and environmental contamination risks.The team are now have an opportunity for a Financial Administrator to join the team full time or part time hours will be considered from our Boxworth office.Key Responsibilities:
- Providing financial administration services using the accounting information system – Focal Point; processing supplier invoices using and organising them for online payment, reconciliation of supplier accounts.
- Maintaining a reliable cloud based and manual filing system,
- Monitoring individual payment schedules, and highlighting any exceptional items to the management team
- Managing petty cash
- Maintaining a clear and well documented filing system and record keeping
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal sales team and colleagues to ensure all parties are fully aware of the status of their orders.
Person Specification:
- Strong IT skills and ability to manage data
- Organised and flexible approach to work, with the ability to plan, prioritise and balance often conflicting demands
- Formal qualifications are not required, although some formal financial qualifications and experience is desirable
- Familiarity with all Microsoft packages
- Experience using Focal Point is highly desired. Prior experience of administration, book-keeping, data management, and IT within construction would be a significant advantage, but is not critical
Salary & Benefits:
- £24,000 – £28,000 per annum DOE
