GBS fosters a collaborative, team-focused and winning environment where employees are accountable and encouraged to develop themselves.The Business Process Specialist – Order-to-Cash (OTC) is a member of the Global Process Organization and is responsible for process improvements and business implementations on behalf of functional departments as directed by GBS Leadership. This role will serve as a primary liaison to help teams manage change and improvement initiatives. This person is expected to ensure that all processes and objectives are implemented efficiently and timely and support the overall GBS vision.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for thoroughly understanding the scope of the project, the project schedule and all administrative project management requirementsSupport delivery of project objectivesSupport creation and maintenance of project documentation, including but not limited to meeting minutes, business requirements, business process and business data, change impacts, training and communication materials, test scripts for business users, key decisions, project trackers as requiredSupport end-to-end process creation and/or process change ensuring its efficiencyPromote global template approach and ensure compliance with local laws and regulationsSupport the change management of the organizationCollaborate and communicate with project stakeholders, including business stakeholders, IT and project team in a professional manner on a project related mattersProactively communicate project tasks status, issues & risks to management and support resolutionOther duties as assignedKey Position CompetenciesInterpersonal Savvy: Support Service Delivery by leading and influencing functional teams to desired requirements and outcomesTime Management: Operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism and prioritize workload in accordance with business goals.Process Management: Utilize process design and review methodologies to ensure all aspects of process steps and opportunities are captured and support instilling this behavior into GBSFunctional / Technical skills: Strong understanding of SAP modules in OTC workstream to ensure best practicesIntegrity/Trust: Ensure statutory, SOX, Regulatory and/or Quality requirements are incorporated and documented into all processesProblem Solving: recognize barriers to improvement, use problem solving techniques and analytical skills to develop, create solutions and meet project objectivesCommunicates Effectively: Balance global perspective and local nuances successfully by ensuring business requirements and expectations are clearProcess Management: Utilize process design and review methodologies to ensure all aspects of process steps and opportunities are captured and lead the change management of instilling this behavior into GBSDrives Results: Supports GPO in process improvements and capability enhancement projects and promotes a work environment that challenges the status quoBalances Stakeholders: Establish and maintain high quality relationships across GBS and ensure processes are implemented with stakeholders’ best interest in mind with the overall objective of customer satisfactionEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree and 5 years operations, process improvement or quality experience or master’s degree and 1-2 years of operations, process improvement or quality experienceKnowledge of SAP or other ERP applications requiredFamiliarity with Problem Solving Techniques – business process management, Six Sigma (DMAIC) and/or lean principles requiredExperience in a previous project or process-based role requiredExperience with process mapping requiredFunctional knowledge of finance, customer service or supply chain end-to-end processes requiredProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and OutlookConnect with us at or , on LinkedIn at , on Facebook at and on Twitter .The base pay for this position is N/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.JOB FAMILY: Customer ServiceDIVISION: RMDx Rapid and Molecular DiagnosticsLOCATION: Ireland
