With offices in the UK, USA and South Africa, we are a growing Travel Management Company specialising in the charity, academic and not-for-profit sectors, and we are proud and passionate about what we do.We are currently looking for a talented Business Partner EU, UK based to join our fast-growing European sales team. You will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities within the European market across the charity, non-profit and academic sectors.Reporting to the Head of Sales Germany, this is a remote UK based role and Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Head of Sales Germany on building a target list and strategy for key German territories
- Develop profitable leads through effective management of the target account list
- Working to a personal sales plan that drives activity levels to create the required pipeline
- Developing and managing a balanced sales pipeline to consistently meet/exceed revenue and margin targets
- Respond to RFPs and manage major new bids/tenders, with the support of the bid team
- Prepare and deliver high quality client presentations and web demonstrations
- Maintain current CRM information in line with the sales policy
- Monitor competitor activity and travel industry changes which might impact Diversity and its clients
- Identify and attend client specific exhibitions and other promotional and networking event
- Occasional travel to Germany
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven new business sales skills in a structured B2B solutions environment, ideally in a travel management or travel industry environment
- A strong drive for new business, and developing new prospects and clients in a competitive sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- German language skills beneficial
- Experience across both SME and Enterprise markets
- Experience working with travel bookers, heads of procurement, Finance Directors and C-level Executives
- Knowledge of working in complex sales environments, with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in managing and responding to RFP’s / tenders
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong IT competency – particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management
- Occasional travel to the EU
