You will be part of well-resourced clinical teams. The ongoing input from other colleagues and day on call cover will also continue; this therefore, guarantees protection for the SPA sessions.Please note this advert will close once sufficient applications have been received.Main duties of the jobWe look forward to recruiting a dynamic, flexible, innovative, trustworthy, supportive, efficient and inspirational Consultant with vast knowledge and experience in the practice of Old Age Psychiatry in different settings. Excellent communication and teaching skills, proven competence in formulation, establishing diagnoses, ability to influence comprehensive treatment plans and working effectively with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams are some of the key attributes that will determine success as Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry for a 12-bedded acute mental health inpatient unit based at the Carleton Clinic in Carlisle.You will have your own office space and will be supported by an experienced medical assistant.This is a substantive and full-time post. However, as noted above we would be happy to consider applicants available on a part time or fixed term basis. There is option to work remotely.About usWhy us?

- Registration with the GMC (or eligible to become registered) with a licence to practice
