Job description
Provide Education Teachers UK are currently recruiting for A SEND Teaching Assistant to work within an alternate provision within the Bulwell area.As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting and mentoring students with special educational needs & disabilities (SEND) in their academic and personal development. Previous school progress may have been limited by problems with behaviour, learning difficulties, reading, and writing or a particular condition.You will work closely with the teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to thrive.Duties as a SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Support students with their social, emotional and physical wellbeing.
- Work with the teacher to develop behaviour management strategies for the students.
- Support the progress of students.
- Meet the additional needs of students.
The Successful candidate will:
- Have a driving license and access to their own vehicle.
- Have previous SEN and TA experience.
- Be available 3 days – 5 days per week.
