An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Office Co-ordinator to join our Clinical Haematology admin team at St Peter’s Hospitals.Candidates are required to have a high level of organisational skills and someone who is good at communicating with a wide range of health care professionals as well as patients and their relatives. Ideally the successful candidate will have an understanding of the 18 week and cancer pathways.You will be working in a growing but busy team responsible for the day-to-day management of the clinical office.   • GSCE in Maths and English – Grade C or equivalent
  • Track record of significant continuous professional development

Desirable

  • NVQ – Level 3 in administration

ExperienceEssential

  • Substantial administrative and secretarial experience
  • Significant experience of taking minutes
  • Demonstrated ability to sustain initiative and direction under difficult circumstances
  • Ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with other team colleagues
  • Ability to deal with complex situations with sensitivity and tact

Desirable

  • NHS experience
  • Competancy with LUNA and Surrey Safe Care

KnowledgeEssential

  • Highly competent user of MS Office e.g. Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of RTT and Cancer pathway

SkillsEssential

  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team and collaboratively work together
  • Ability to manage to deadlines and prioritise workload

  • Previous experience of rota management
