- Immediate temporary opportunity as a Financial Analyst in the Healthcare field in Winnipeg
- Onsite position Monday to Friday 8 am to 430 pm
- Potential to extend
Responsibilities:
- Identify and make recommendations for improvements to the efficiency of the financial services, processes and procedures
- Create financial reports and support for financial forecasting, budget maintenance and reporting metrics tracking
- Request month-end financial transactions
- Review accounts and expense accruals
- Analyze financial variances affecting cost centres and ensure they are accurately reported in a timely manner
- Other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3 plus years of progressive experience in accounting and finance in a corporate setting and or as a Financial Analyst
- Post-secondary education in Accounting and Finance, or Business Administration; a combination of education and experience may be considered
- 2 years experience with financial reporting, financial analysis and forecasting, and operational metrics tracking
- Experience with SAP and/or Great Plains is required
- Criminal record check required
