The Strategic Programs Manager will work closely with the IFAI executive leadership team and act as advisor and co-strategist in building the national work associated with IFAI. This position is responsible for identifying funding sources and developing/drafting project proposals that support existing and planned program activities across IFAI’s portfolio, working closely with IFAI’s Budget Director, Program Operations Manager, and key central campus partners. Primary responsibilities include preparation of proposals, statements of work, and grant applications, performance of responsible professional and administrative work in researching, identifying, developing and responding to public and private grant opportunities in areas that support IFAI mission areas, interface with funder grant management platforms and assisting in relationship management with IFAI funders. The Strategic Programs Manager will also develop and maintain working knowledge of University of Arkansas financial management systems including Workday and serve as a backup to the IFAI Budget Director.This position reports to and is evaluated by the IFAI Budget Director and will require occasional interface with the IFAI executive leadership team, external organizational partners, and colleagues on main campus.
