Emphasizing service, we are dedicated to the Catholic, Jesuit principle of cura personalis — “care of the whole person.” Our partnerships with organizations in the region strengthen our work and expand its reach.The Cognitive Neuroimaging Laboratory, directed by Dr. Xiong Jiang, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the lab as a full-time Research Assistant. They will work closely with a postdoctoral fellow to recruit and test participants, and to collect behavioral, cognitive, and multimodal neuroimaging data. Primary responsibilities include:Oversee subject recruitment and testing, as well as subject reimbursement.Manage data entry, data validation, and data analysis.Help with IRB application, renewal, and modification, and other research related activities (i.e., GMS).Handle lab management, helping the PI to supervise undergraduate students.Work InteractionsThe successful applicant will work closely with a multidisciplinary research team, including neuroimaging, neuroscience, neurology, computer science, and psychology. The incumbent will interact daily with a postdoctoral fellow, and will report to the lab director.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor/Master degree in Psychology, Sociology, Cognitive Science/ Neuroscience, or a related fieldDetailed oriented and well organizedSrong interpersonal skillsMRI experience is not required, but training will be providedPreference will be given to individuals with experience with the older adults or those with cognitive impairmentsWork Mode DesignationThis position has been designated as On-Campus.
