Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?This opportunity involves managing financials, budgets, and resource allocations for high-impact technology projects, overseeing a $200M annual budget in data and artificial intelligence. You’ll support operational recovery, drive process improvements, and track key metrics that prove business value. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, create reports for executives, and help modernize processes to enhance efficiency and business value.What will you do?Manage financials, budgets, and resource allocations for high-impact technology projects.Be hands on in the operations, recovery, and successful delivery of a > $200M technology budget annually in the exciting field of data and artificial intelligence.Participate in metrics reporting for the department; you will be helping track and report on our progress towards meeting lofty goals pertaining to business value and re-use.Assist in modernizing existing charge-back to the business by working directly with stakeholders, proposing new solutions and implementing them.Be the first line of defense in ensuring the complete recovery of every resource in the department on projects every-month through problem solving and innovation.Improve, automate, and re-imagine tired business as usual processes to improve efficiency and drive impact for the entire department.Maintain and create new reports for executives outlining resource capacity, allotment as well as project spend to drive key insights and facilitate strategic resourcing decisions.What do you need to succeed?Demonstrate initiative and apply concepts, while exercising effective interpersonal, communication, training, and problem-solving skills to optimize performance and meet objectives.Ability to communicate instructions to and collect information from individuals across the bank, including senior leaders, clearly and confidently.Be able to identify areas for possible improvements and be proactive at addressing problems within the scope of your role.Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Exceptional organizational, project management, time management and reporting capabilities.Minimum bachelor’s degree preferably in business administration, commerce, finance, or an equivalent field of study.Nice to HaveExperience with using resource allocation, time-entry, or project billing tools such as those used in RBC like Planview Enterprise, MIS (Management Information System), APPTIO and others.Strong ability to use Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and others.Experience with querying datasets to obtain specific information then being able to build Excel based reports to display it in a way that is useful for executives.What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
