Our products and services include advisory, financing, prime services, research and analysis, securities services, trading and sales and transaction banking.We are currently seeking a high calibre individual to join the team in the role of Programme Director – Client OnboardingThe Programme Director within Client Change and Onboarding is responsible for leading and managing large scale complex global strategic change programmes and business transformations with the business and delivery partners.This is a crucial and exciting opportunity to manage a Tier 1 client whereby you will gain great visibility to the securities services business and exposure to the senior stakeholder group.As a HSBC Employee in the UK, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. - Define the shape and structure in developing the programme plan (which could be multi-country or cross business); review and refine resource requirements and engage with stakeholders to create buy-in for the plan
- Actively manage and co-ordinate the programme roadmap, handling changes as they arise and keeping stakeholders focused on the agreed change outcomes and benefits
- Influence and collaborate with stakeholders and business partners, building strong relationships to ensure consensus and influence change outcomes. Fosters open and honest communication which anticipates stakeholder expectations
- Support regional leadership in managing and leading change in region / country through deployment of priority programmes and provide inputs in strategic change planning
- Obtain buy-in from and influences senior management and stakeholders for all key programme plans, commitments, changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, scope, risk mitigation and contingency plans
RequirementsTo be successful in this role you should meet the following:
- Proven track record as a Programme Director who has managed large complex programmes across multiple jurisdictions.
- A professional project/programme management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2/PMP) and in-depth understanding of Project and Programme Methodologies is ideal and some knowledge of the Aladdin platform would be advantageous
- Ability to operate and influence at a very senior level, can demonstrate leadership of people and teams in addition to being able to lead difficult discussions.
- Strong strategic client focus with substantial client onboarding experience and a solid understanding of securities services product areas such as fund accounting and custody is essential
- Excellent organisational skills, credibility with senior stakeholders and a self-starter who can operate on own initiative.
