The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of diversity and inclusion principles, experience developing and implementing diversity, equity and inclusion practices, and a commitment to driving meaningful change within the organization.Key Responsibilities:Business Resource Group Lead:

  • Support delivery of the Inclusion strategy/plan, through oversite of IGM’s corporate BRGs. This includes the execution of the plans, management of BRG mandates and supporting all BRG activities.
  • Provide direct support to BRGs in delivering on key observances during the calendar year.
  • Develop supporting resources and content that supports the governance and accountability of the BRGs, including the business plans for each BRG.
  • Provide technical support for events, in person and virtual
  • Responsible for the people/leader management of the BRG roles and ensuring succession plans are established
  • Identify & support leadership development opportunities for our BRG leaders

Communications:

  • Partner with Employee Communications and Marketing teams to execute external social media campaigns around key observances (including social media copy and visual assets) and draft internal communications on key events and observances
  • Develop and execute creative campaigns to support a culture of inclusion – including Allyship campaigns and Inclusive Leadership articles, as well as developing video assets to support Inclusion

Program Support:

  • Work on joint projects with the various HR teams to help embed Inclusion into talent programs and practices and help evaluate program delivery.
  • Promote participation in external partner events
  • Act as a point of contact on special programs run through the BRGs, including mentoring and buddy programs
  • Partner with Learning and Development on identifying candidates for key professional development programs, including McKinsey
  • Act as the key point of contact for all IGM external inclusion partners

Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary education – ideally a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resource or similar
  • 5 years of Human Resources experience, with experience leading DEI mandates
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices and trends in diversity and inclusion, including familiarity with key concepts (e.g. cultural competence, unconscious bias, etc.)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external partners and build credibility and respect
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to work independently, take initiative, plan and execute multiple priorities
  • Strong aptitude for technology and leveraging available technologies to improve workflows and drive efficiencies in processes
  • French language proficiency is an asset
