Do you have excellent organisational skills and experience of recruitment?We are looking for a Recruitment Officer to join the HMP Berwyn Health and Wellbeing team providing expert co-ordination to ensure the smooth running of the Health and Wellbeing team recruitment processes.The successful candidate will be CIPD part qualified or be willing to undertake the qualification and have the ability to work on own initiative, with time management skills and organise own workload effectively.This is an exciting opportunity to join the BCUHB Health & Wellbeing Team at HMP Berwyn, who are an integrated multi-disciplinary servicePlease note that any offer of employment will be subject to the successful receipt of enhanced DBS and prison vetting clearances.Main duties of the jobTo provide focus and centralised efforts into the recruitment of members of the Health and Wellbeing Team at HMP Berwyn for BCUHB. The post holder will be responsible for chasing staff presently in the system, advertising vacancies, supporting short-listing, arranging interviews and liaising with senior colleagues to place successful candidates in roles as quickly as possible.This work will include providing a first point of access advisory service to offer guidance and support to line managers on recruitment.The post holder will coach and support managers on the management of Recruitment issues, with the aim of reducing the time to hire to 6 weeks.The role will provide advice in relation to the recruitment principles and recruitment policy.The post holder will work to ensure robust systems / processes are in place and maintained to ensure effective monitoring of recruitment practice issues, using key performance measures to monitor the volume of candidates and time to hire.The post holder will contribute to performance management of the team reporting through the collating and presentation of appropriate recruitment data and information.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.About usIf you relish a challenge, have a passion to help others or simply fancy a fresh start, then Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales, has all the right ingredients.
