Apply today!Job DetailsLocation: Leeds LS11 0LRHours and Days: Sunday 08:00 – 14:00 Monday, Tuesday 16:30 – 00:00 = 21 hours per weekRate of Pay: £11.90 per hoursJob Purpose:The Warehouse Operative is responsible for carrying out any role required of them within the warehouse environment. This can range from picking and packing of orders within the automated system, the medical bulk area, the fridge area and secure areas, whilst if required, carrying out roles within the transport environment. They are responsible for the overall processing of the customer orders efficiently and at the agreed company rate.Key Accountability:Where required must accurately assemble items from the pick documentation and ensure that the quantity picked is accurate.Special care must be taken to avoid damage and the appropriate bin/packaging used – all damages must be reported to the line team leader.Any pick face errors must be reported to the line team leaders immediatelyHospital orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the hospital checker to ensure accuracyMedical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders must be picked in the same way however each have specific criteria that will be covered through trainingAwareness of Health & Safety procedures at all times.The warehouse area must be kept clean and tidy and free from rubbish at all times.Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:EssentialHigh Visual AccuracyGood verbal communication skillsBasic written communication skillsBasic numeracy and literacyCustomer careDesirableAny previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirableHere’s the kind of person that would fit us best:Flexible and adaptable approach to workAbility to work under pressureAbility to communicate well with othersGood visual accuracy, numeracy and communication skillsCommitted to working in a hazard-free, world class health and safety environmentDue to the nature of the role, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as carrying out manual handling activities in line with our Health and Safety standards.
