Job description
Reporting directly to the Head of Investments, the Associate will support the team in reviewing and assessing investment and lending opportunities and lead the due diligence and execution of these opportunities.This includes conducting research, building and maintaining financial models and the preparation of materials to present to the investment committee.Manage investment processesBuild, develop and review financial modelsPresent diligence findings and results of financial analyses, and make recommendations to the investment committeeLead due diligence on debt and equity investmentsDevelop key internal and external relationshipsStay up to date with industry developments and competitor activitiesOpportunity to join a growing investment team covering renewable energy |Responsible for assessing and reviewing lending and investment opportunitiesExperience in financial services – in one of investment banking, debt advisory, asset finance or structured financeExperience in financial modelling including debt sizing and sculpting and discounted cash flowsAbility to collect and synthesise large amounts of information and effectively communicate complex ideas and insightsStrong project management skills with ability to work on multiple projects and to strict deadlinesExperience in project finance and/or M&A and knowledge of agriculture or renewables sectors, especially the biogas sector, preferredFinancial Services BusinessOpportunity to join a growing investment teamAssociate level role with competitive salary and benefits package
