Heidelberg Materials North America operates more than 450 locations with approximately 9,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada.Heidelberg Materials is looking for a qualified Dispatcher for our Calgary, AB operations. Reporting to the Dispatch Supervisor, this position will focus on efficient and effective trucking dispatch, front line interface with our customers.What You Will Get To Do

• Monitor and control dispatch and movement of our drivers.
• Responsible for the efficient distribution of concrete products to ensure maximum efficiencies and customer service
• Prioritize customers to provide superior service
• Receive customer orders and schedule deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction and transportation efficiencies
• Schedule trucks as required to meet customer orders while maintaining an efficient operation

Essential Experience and Skills

• Post-Secondary education preferred: certification, diploma or degree
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated customer service experience
• Aggregates, Ready mix and/or construction building materials sector experience would be beneficial
• Knowledge of the Calgary & surrounding areas
• Advanced communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong computer skills
• A strong team orientated personality who gets along well with people
• Demonstrates a strong ability to quickly grasp new concepts and shows a proactive attitude towards expanding responsibilities.

Work Environment

• This role operates in an office setting. Located at our Vintage Park Office.
