As a Special Arrangements Specialist, you will be accountable for the implementation of Special Arrangements with respect to interest and service fee arrangements negotiated with business customers to ensure that revenue is collected in a timely manner. This applies to business deposits products and cash management products which are managed by the Global Transaction Banking Department.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How You’ll SucceedAccurately implement negotiated Special Arrangement to ensure revenue is collected in a timely manner. This applies to interest arrangements and service fee arrangements for Mid Market and Large Corporate clients, as well as some product billing fees for small businessReview, validate customer’s account profile and ensure programming is correct as per special arrangements and make necessary changes if applicableIdentify and take steps to resolve revenue leakage issues.Process the interest arrangements to Automated Interest System (AIS) for all Segments – Large Corporate, Midmarket and Small BusinessEnsure all interest and revenue adjustments are escalated to appropriate party to ensure proper interest payments.Notifies the correct areas for any variances and discrepancies, i.e.; CB & A (Customer Billing and Analysis) billing and AIS (Automated Interest Systems) and or Intria of new and or amendment arrangements. Ensure instructions are accurate and clearly defined.Provide direction to Intria and RO to ensure that account programming on CDS (Commercial Deposit Services) are correct, i.e.; interest bearing vs. non-interest bearing, service fees programmed as waived, standard, flat, etc.Act as liaise between Segments and Operational areas for implementation.Implement negotiated contract to GDP- CPD (Client Pricing Database) to accurately reflect ratesMonthly CPD reconciliation variances.Who You AreYou’re knowledgeable. You have a broad knowledge of CIBC products, and pricing guidelines. You have knowledge of relevant host branch, RO/Intria process, and a general understanding of banking systems.
