We are committed to a future that seeks to improve our cities, enhance the environment and better daily lives.Position SummaryConstruction Planner/Scheduler with construction experience to join an international company delivering transit projects in Toronto ON. Working with the Project Manager in a construction site role that provides support to operations staff and management in a dynamic and challenging work environment.Duties and Responsibilities:· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and to present information clearly· Possess strong communication skills & ability to coordinate with all project stakeholders (Site Supervision, Subcontractors, Client & Project Management team). Confident interacting verbally, written and electronic form· Identify the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule, and work with Planning Manager to identify potential delays· Maintain project schedule and prepare/submit project deliverables. Including project specific schedules, earned value management reports (S-Curve, SPI, and CPI) and other project documentation· Assist Project Management team with change management· Ability to work in a team environment, multi-task, setting priorities to meet deadlines and project milestones· Organize project close-out by preparing warranty package and requirements; collecting warranties and O&M manuals; creating turnover documents and assisting in demobilizing the site and archiving documentation· Willingness to contribute actively in team activities, sharing experiences and ideasWork Conditions· Position: Site basedQualifications/Requirements:· Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management· 2+ years experience using Primavera P6· 3+ years’ experience in Civil Construction Preferred (Rail projects preferred)· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Strong computer background including Microsoft Office package (Excel)· English speaking (Spanish is a plus)Additional InformationSACYR is a global group committed to meeting any challenge to transform our society.
