The Executive Assistant will be responsible for the management and administration of the Development Directorate and the Executive Director Development’s office. This includes managing the Director’s schedule, facilitating meetings and governance requirements, organising directorate events and supporter visits, co-ordinating Directorate communications and information management, office management and a number of HR processes including new staff inductions, recruitment and Health and Safety.You will support with managing the Development Council and senior volunteers, as well as maintain an overview of financial and budget tasks such as the Director’s budget and requisitions. You will be versatile and flexible, proactive and independent, confident to make decisions and work alongside senior colleagues. You will be adept at managing a varied workload and prioritising multiple tasks and will have a proven ability to develop good working relationships and be a collaborative team-player. You will be an excellent communicator and organiser, able to work at pace and to a high standard. You will have good technical skills across a variety of areas, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office and budgeting and HR processes.This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (RBG Kew) is a leading plant science institute, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and major visitor attraction.
