We are a proud member of the Intact family, we feel part of something bigger, with a presence in North America, the UK and Europe.We have a bold ambition to become the best Commercial Lines business in the UK, demonstrated by our recent acquisition of NIG and Farmweb, allowing us to scale by leveraging our combined financial strength and importantly ensure our people feel the benefits of our joint capabilities.We are currently recruiting for an Marine Pricing Lead to join our established and experienced Chief Underwriting Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.Role RequirementsYour Role:As the Pricing Lead you will be responsible for delivering actuarial analyses in some of the following areas:product pricing, risk modelling, corporate planning, reinsurance, establishment of adequate claims reserves and underwriting analysis.You will lead, develop and motivate a team of pricing experts to ensure the timely and accurate provision ofanalyses, pricing models, actions to deliver agreed strategy and targets for a set of accounts or portfolio.You will represent your team at relevant meetings, working with the wider CUO function to communicate your findings and support their implementation.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have a depth of knowledge in general insurance along with actuarial or relevant pricing experience. You will require extensive technology and numeracy skills (Excel, Emblem, Radar,VBA, R etc).You will also have experience of coaching and mentoring team members. You will be able to challenge standard thinking and also be able to prioritise and keep stakeholders updated as required.What we offer you:At RSA we put our people first.
