We are a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation, seeking a talented individual to join our team and help us continue our expansion journey.As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our business. We’re ideally looking for someone with a background in ecommerce, manufacturing, or retail, and hands-on experience with B2C sales channels, particularly via platforms like Amazon.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage financial planning and analysis, ensuring that key business decisions are supported by accurate and timely financial insights.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Drive efficiency improvements within financial operations, including cost control and cash flow management.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on financial performance and growth strategies.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage VAT returns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing business development, especially in ecommerce and B2C sales channels (Amazon, etc.).
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar finance leadership role.
- Background in ecommerce, manufacturing, or retail, with a strong understanding of B2C sales, including on platforms like Amazon.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Hands-on experience with financial software and ERP systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
