Shift: 5 x 2, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Location: Goderich, Ontario
Relocation: This position does not offer relocationKey Job Responsibilities

  • Provide first point of contact support to customers for parts and related inquiries
  • Receive, process, and revise all purchase orders to ensure accuracy
  • Provide updates on R&R requests including updates on repair status and ETA
  • Provide quotes for the mine sites and shop
  • Communicate with external and internal customers to effectively resolve problems and issues that affect orders and delivery
  • Process returns and credit from internal and external customers
  • Assist purchaser in locating and sourcing parts from outside vendors when required
  • Light warehousing duties when required
  • Liaison for Component Equipment Tracking system
  • Available to provide on-call after-hours duties, once every four to six weeks
  • Daily contact with Planning, Purchasing, and Maintenance departments from each mine site, along with the Shop Planner
  • Coordinate with the AR group to resolve any past due invoices
  • Process all freight invoices for customer back charges
  • Support and be committed to a strong safety culture to achieve organizational safety goals
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years of customer service experience
  • Business travel will be required with this position (within Canada and the United States)
  • High School Diploma required
  • Able to safely lift up to 10kgs
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills and a background or experience in parts would be considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with both internal and external customers
  • Detailed orientated and have a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
