Job Description:We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. The role is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and you will be involved in a range of accounting and administrative tasks. The Accounting Clerk will be integral in maintaining our financial records and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate processing of credit applications.Responsibilities:
- Accurate input of financial data into our accounting systems, keeping all records up-to-date
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on various financial tasks
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy in all aspects including hours worked, deductions, and benefits
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis, resolving any discrepancies quickly
- Reconcile company credit card transactions, verifying receipts and resolving any issues
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records that comply with audit requirements
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to generate financial reports and assist in forecasting and budgeting activities
- Process customer credit applications efficiently, maintaining accurate customer records
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Knowledge of Billing procedures
- Ability to perform Data Entry tasks
- Experience in Invoice Processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks software
- Knowledge of SAP software
Expected salary
$50000 – 55000 per year
