At Home Instead Liverpool Central and North, our mission is “To improve the lives of everyone who touches our business.” We are dedicated to delivering the best person-centred care for each of our clients using the proven Home Instead franchise model and oversight provided by our National Office.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Registered Care Manager with strong leadership qualities, to lead our team and be responsible for the growth and development of our care service, ensuring the delivery of outstanding quality care.The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of providing the best person-centred care for people in their own homes.In this varied and challenging role, you will:

  • Manage the process of client acquisition from initial contact to conversion.
  • Carry out care planning and conduct risk assessments, ensuring compliance to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a team, making sure that exceptional service is delivered to our clients and workloads are managed accordingly.
  • Ensure the successful operation of quality control systems and performing quality assurance visits for clients.
  • Manage complaints and incidents effectively, carrying out investigations relating to the quality of the service, and use those findings to initiate improvements.

To be successful, you will:

  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a team that delivers a high volume of care hours.
  • Have lead your office through a successful CQC inspection.
  • Be approachable, motivated and an effective communicator.
  • Be commercially aware.
  • Be able to demonstrate achievement of business growth targets.
  • Be able to build good working relationships.
  • Have strong organisation and planning skills
  • Be able to work well and accurately under pressure.
  • Be flexible to meet the demands of the business including participating in an on-call rota

Due to the need to support the On-Call function, which may require you to support team members out in the field in emergency situations. You should have a driving licence and access to a vehicle as there is a need to travel throughout the community.Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within domiciliary care registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care).
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
  • Extensive care experience with a proven track record in providing consistent excellent customer service.
  • Ability to inspire others and build fantastic working relationships.
  • Commercially aware and have strong influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
