Accounting Clerk! 3-6+ Month Contract located in Toronto, Ontario (Liberty Village location)We are offering an exciting contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Toronto, Ontario. The role primarily involves supporting a small accounting team in a variety of tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our operations.Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely data entry
- Handling customer inquiries and providing appropriate solutions
- Processing customer credit applications with precision
- Ensuring accurate records of customer credit are maintained
- Regular monitoring of customer accounts and taking appropriate actions
- Assisting in project reconciliations
- Maintaining a systematic filing system
- Assisting in the processing of accounts payable
- Handling bank deposits
- Managing printing tasks related to payables and estimates
- Handling ad-hoc/miscellaneous requests as needed.
- 1+ years of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or a similar position
- Experience using QuickBooks required
- Proficiency in full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strong data entry skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed
- Experience in invoice processing, including verifying and recording invoices from suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and perform data analysis
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
