You’ll join the Digital Solutions Team, where you will play a pivotal role in maximising the utility of data to enhance decision making and planning to ensure that submarines and submariners go to sea safely.What you’ll do:

  • Model Coordination: Ensuring that BIM and CAD models from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) are properly integrated and checking for clashes or inconsistencies.
  • Data Management: Organizing, updating, and maintaining project files, models, and design revisions in a centralised system to ensure all stakeholders have access to the latest versions.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Verifying that models adhere to project standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Facilitating communication between design teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring that feedback is incorporated into the models and that project milestones are met.
  • Training and Support: Assisting team members with BIM and CAD tools, offering technical support, and ensuring that everyone follows best practices for digital design and documentation.

What you’ll need:

  • HNC/HND in Engineering/Construction/Architecture desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of BIM/Digital Engineering through CPD or equivalent training course in related BIM or Digital fields.
  • Awareness of Building Information Modelling (BIM) & Digital Design/Construction Techniques.
  • A drive to own and shape your career development journey.
