Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – this is essential
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply) – this is essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK – this is essential
  • Strong subject knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and teach appropriate lessons and enable children with varying abilities to access the KS3 & KS4 curriculum
  • Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assessment methods.
  • Deliver captivating and exciting lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Possess a deep and secure knowledge of your subject, and be open to employing a hands-on approach to the curriculum.
  • Reveal the beauty and intricacy of the English language by exploring its subtleties, idioms, and etymology
  • Encourage students to express themselves through writing, poetry, storytelling, or drama, allowing them to unleash their creativity and imagination
  • Establish and enforce classroom rules and expectations to cultivate a safe and respectful learning environment.
