Job description

This is an exciting role with a primary focus working as an analyst on a transformational project, the implementation of Infor Cloud Suite Fashion. The role will also provide expert analysis in the development and support of retail business applications including warehousing, merchandising and store applications.Main Responsibilities:

  • Senior responsibility for understanding, documenting, and analysing business requirements. Translating those requirements into technical analysis and functionality for projects
  • Responsible for the documentation of the new software changes and new business processes
  • Senior testing of IT retail business application changes including the design and execution of repeatable test scripts
  • Work closely with project stakeholders of all levels
  • Manage new system releases including monitoring of system changes, issue reporting and issue resolution
  • Contribute to IT governance including the management of change requests in the IT retail business applications space and the creation /execution of repeatable project and support processes
  • Create and maintain user support documentation
  • Training of users in new functionality and the creation of training material
  • Maintain a close working relationship with 3rd party software vendors
  • Senior analysis in the support of business applications including in critical incidents
  • Work in an agile environment that has daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming and a sprint closer ceremony
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Maintain a close working relationship with 3rd party software vendors

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in an analytical role, preferably within a retail organization •
  • Warehousing, store inventory management and stock analysis experience is favourable
  • Proven analytical ability and business judgement
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Inquisitive nature
  • Analytical and detail-orientated
  • Experience of software development processes and the development lifecycle
  • A strong understanding of business processes, preferably retail applications
  • Ability to manage a technical team
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • High level of confidence and the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of staff
  • Proactive and a positive approach to work
  • A team player
  • Able to use initiative to complete tasks
  • A history of promoting process improvement within the business
