SEN Teacher Assistant – Full time – North London based – November startAre you a highly attentive and caring individual and looking to work full time as a SEN Teacher Assistant? Look no further!We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teacher Assistant to join a special needs school based in North London. Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and safe learning environment
- Organise personalised learning activities
- Work alongside Teachers to liaise with parents, carers and external agencies where appropriate
- Follow the schools safeguarding/health and safety policies
- Able to adapt teaching styles or better suit each learners needs
Personal Attributes:
- Willingness to work with young individuals with autism
- have knowledge or know about autism and learning disabilities of all different ranges.
- Emotional and physical resilience to bad behaviour
- Willing to use positive behaviour therapy
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
