An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manager in Fund Finance to join a leading private equity firm. This role is based in the vibrant city of Toronto and offers the chance to work with various corporate groups and third-party vendors. The successful candidate will primarily focus on fund accounting and support for closed-end private equity funds.What you’ll do:

• Review accruals, billings, management fee calculations, investment ledgers, and waterfall calculations for several funds and their related entities.
• Support Fund Managers throughout quarter-end and year-end processes.
• Liaise with fund auditors throughout the year-end process.
• Oversee all ongoing reporting deliverables of the Funds, including compliance certifications and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor, assess and implement new accounting pronouncements impacting the Funds under US GAAP, IFRS and Canadian GAAP.
• Support client service team in the completion of investor inquiries.
• Assist with special projects led by the Private Equity Fund Finance Team.

What you bring:

• CPA Preferred
• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and Canadian GAAP reporting guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to self-start, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Entrepreneurial, team-oriented work ethic
