Reference: 4341Junior Management Accountant£32,000 to £34,000Think Accountancy and Finance are representing a fantastic business in Borehamwood looking for a Junior Management Accountant to join their growing team.As a Junior Management Accountant, you will report to the Finance Controller and play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility between the office and home.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and financial documents
- Measure financial performance and identify problem areas
- Communicate financial data to non-financial managers
- Maintain Sterling bank accounts and manage cash book transactions
- Process till incomes and oversee weekly cash deposits
- Assist with month and year-end audits and financial reporting
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain compliance with statutory requirements
- Support ongoing improvements to accounting processes and systems
To be successful in this role, you will require the following experience:
- Proficiency in spreadsheets
- Experience using accounting software
- Previous experience in cash flow, financial data processing, or bookkeeping is a plus
- Strong organisational skills
