Salary: £30,000 – £46,525 (MPS/UPS)

The ideal candidate is not only well-versed in the subject matter but also enthusiastic about making English literature and language studies accessible and enjoyable for students of varying abilities.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
- Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to excel.
- Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make English literature and language studies relevant and captivating for students.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
- A positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for literature and language, promoting respectful behaviour among students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English; a master’s degree is a plus.
- PGCE/QTS/QTLS
- Experience of teaching English at the secondary level is preferred.
- Familiarity with KS3 and GCSE curriculum.
