Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Client Change Project team are key client facing experts owning/sponsoring client driven initiatives requiring specific solutions and mid-sized/large strategic projects through to business growth, helping drive overall client satisfaction, interoperability, and growth in profitability.Client Change partners with clients and internal stakeholders and is responsible for solution design, project management and coordination for approved initiatives such as specific client requirements including reengineering opportunities client change requests, product enhancements, client change management.The role will translate requirements into executable solutions, working with partners in Product, Operations, Technology and directly with clients. The role has as an understanding of RBC Investor Services (IS products and services, design and development principles, traditional and agile delivery, and both Product roadmap and client priorities, ensuring solutions are designed to add commercial value.What will you do?

  • Managing change requests (Review and support EIF, CRD, approval process, prioritization, coordinate change repository, tracking of cost estimates, execution of invoicing / cost recovery – change budget monitoring) and performing primary gap analysis, solution design, handling of small change requests, quick fixes – e.g.: addition of reports, handling of complex change / enhancement requests, and related supporting material, design. coordinate and implement system changes.
  • On-demand for new operating models/products, design of detailed operating model, performing initial gap analysis with clients.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the Client Change Management framework to improve Client Experience, increase efficiency and automation.
  • Manage ongoing development and process improvement to meet client’s expectations (Partner/Strategic Clients in alignment with client profitability)
  • Defining and agreeing on detailed target operating model
  • Performing Gap analysis / draft EIF and determining delivery timeline
  • Define, Execute & Handover Project Documents & Artefacts
  • Ensure proper Operational readiness before any new implementation / Liaising with internal stakeholders / SFTP setup.
  • Ensure SME/BA deliver, Client Business Requirements / Enhancement request, use/test Case creation & execution.
  • When required, support internal strategic/regulatory projects with liaising with stakeholders and rolling out efficient solutions?
  • Supporting Client Operations
  • Supporting T&O & Product teams
  • Supporting Lab initiatives specific to assigned Product.

What do you need to succeed?Must have:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the financial services
  • BA or BSc in business, or other relevant degree
  • Knowledge of one of RBC core (Shareholder Services, Custody…) services & products
  • Experience managing a range of projects/deliverables, PM/BA experience and/or qualifications.
  • Transversal business knowledge
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office

  • Bilingualism (English and French) as you may regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.
