This role is responsible for leading and managing comprehensive change and training initiatives, engaging stakeholders and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program implementation, and ensuring a culture of continuous improvement where feedback from partners is sought and incorporated.Critical to success in this role is the ability to build strong relationships with partners (both internal and external) and lead large-scale, multi-faceted programs.Is this role right for you?
- Partner closely with product and business stakeholder teams to ensure an effective operating and delivery model
- Conduct change impact assessments and develop change management plans that address the needs of various stakeholders
- Identify potential resistance and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure successful adoption of changes
- Develop and implement strategies to manage and engage the Salesforce user base
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications and change management activities and make necessary adjustments, as needed
- Perform continuous discovery to understand customer/user needs, pain points, industry trends and best practices. Reviews both qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate training across the Branch network
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge
- Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
- Minimum 5 years experience in banking, change management, consulting, and/or product management
- Strong understanding of the Retail/Small Business lines of business including policies and processes, servicing models and products
- Ability to build trusted relationships, instill confidence and influence stakeholders
- Master of identifying and solving ambiguous problems to drive customer and business value
- Curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation
- Great verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organization
- Strong understanding of culture change; demonstrated experience implement Change Management initiatives and making an impact through influence and change principles
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
- Creative, self-starting, results-oriented and highly motivated individual with a strong ability to reconcile competing or conflicting goals to help resolve business problems of varying complexity
- Superior organizational and time management skills
