Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 per annum
Location: Westbury, Wiltshire

• Provide tailored support to students, including one-to-one and small group interventions to enhance their learning experience.
• Assist the classroom teacher in preparing resources and implementing engaging lessons.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) through personalised learning strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour and help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Encourage student engagement and independence, supporting their social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to track and communicate student progress.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect well with students and staff.
• Previous experience in a similar role or working with children in an educational setting is beneficial.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (Minimum Level 2/C Grade).
• Empathetic, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting student development.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative in assisting the class teacher.
