The Strategic Planning Directorate’s goal is to achieve better decision-making across the institution from the analysis, advice and insight we provide, to the trusted relationships we build with stakeholders and the data quality, governance and infrastructure that underpins it.Recently reconfigured and expanded, now is a great time to join the Directorate as we look to enhance our contributions to delivering the University Strategy.We are seeking an outstanding candidate to play a key delivery role in ensuring the University meets its statutory data reporting requirements and that these are informed by accurate and robust data.The successful candidate will compile, complete and data quality assure a range of higher education statutory returns such as HESA Student, the Initial Teacher Training (ITT) return and Unistats. Experience working through the HESA Data Futures transformation within an institutional setting will be an advantage.They will be a data quality champion for the institution with responsibility for the continual improvement of data collection, processing and outputs from our key databases in relation to its use in statutory reporting. The post-holder will also be expected to support an internal community of practice or governance group dedicated to overseeing the accurate and timely completion and submission of all University data returns.We are a diverse and inclusive team of dedicated professionals who are committed and passionate about what we do.
