Job description
Waterbeach Community Primary School are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant who will work as part of a strong team. The role will be for 27.5 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant and 3.75 hours per week as a Midday Supervisor, and will be temporary for the 24/25 Academic Year.We are looking for someone who:
- Is caring patient and enthusiastic, with good communication skills and has high expectations
- Has a therapeutic approach to supporting pupil’s behaviour and learning
- Is able to support individual pupils 1:1
- Is able to lead interventions with individuals and groups of pupils
- Is proactive, highly motivated and a good team player

Salary details:Teaching Assistant – Level 2, Scale point 5, starting at £13.87 per hour (subject to April 24 pay award)Level 3 would be considered for an excellent candidate with appropriate experience.Midday Supervisor – NJC Scale 1C, Point 2 – £11.59 per hour (subject to April 24 pay award)The staff and Governors at Waterbeach Community Primary School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
