Enter the expansive Operational Living industry as a leader?A progressive managing agent specialising in Operation Living accommodation is seeking to appoint a new Head of Service Charge.The company is rapidly growing across both their development and property management services with ambitious plans for continued expansion.As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role combines both strategic oversight and hands-on responsibilities.This is an exciting opportunity to shape and optimise processes, inspire and lead the Service Charge Team, while also playing a pivotal role in various business-wide projects.Your responsibilities will include ensuring all service charge budgets and accounts are prepared accurately, in line with internal deadlines, and comply with current regulations, lease terms, and industry standards.You will also oversee the Transactional Service Charge Team, which encompasses the Sales/Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions. In addition to building key relationships with external stakeholders and working alongside the Group Finance Team to share and implement best practices.What you need to be:

• Experienced leader with excellent people management skills
• Highly motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Collaborative, working effectively with senior colleagues to drive the business forward
• Strong IT skills, particularly with MS Office; advanced proficiency in Excel is essential
• Experience with Qube Property Management (advantageous but not essential)
• Suitable for someone looking to step up to a Head of Department role or already at that level
• Capable of leading and supporting a team through change and growth
• Must hold a Level 3 qualification from the Property Institute in Leasehold Management
• Strong understanding of leasehold management and Service Charge legislation is essential
