Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Reporting and Compliance Specialist – Disaster Recovery is an integral member of the T&O Disaster Readiness team, working to align CNB and RBC disaster recovery reporting. The incumbent will work as a City National Bank employee, integrating with RBC over the next 2 years. Meanwhile, regular reports must be prepared for senior management and risk management teams. We are looking for a self-starter who can learn and question, engage, and contribute to improving processes and help us evolve.What will you do?Produce weekly and quarterly disaster recovery compliance reportsCollaborate between CNB and RBC DR teams to ensure alignment in report preparationMonitor and identify gaps and inconsistencies so that they can be remediatedGuide alignment in reporting activities by identifying and recommending best practicesLearn how to upload data from Excel to ServiceNow as a workaround pending automationWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have:Min 2 years experience working in the financial industry or another heavily regulated industryMin 1 year experience independently producing clear, accurate, detailed reportsExpert experience using Microsoft ExcelAdvanced experience with Microsoft PowerPointStrong organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlinesNice to Have:Experience in Disaster Recovery concepts and principlesExperience using TableauExperience using ServiceNowWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
