We are a matrix engineering and technology organization so you will touch multiple programs over your career!What You Will Be DoingAs a Hardware Engineering Lead, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:-Leading a team of hardware designers from the Critical Design Review (CDR) through final U.S. Army approval to cut-in the new IGS design to PAC-3 Production, including managing cost, schedule, and technical performance as the Hardware Design CAM.
-Scope objectives include, but are not limited to, missile integration, hardware-in-the-loop integration, qualification test (QT), flight test (FT), Physical Configuration Audit (PCA), Functional Configuration Audit (FCA), and Request for Change (RFC) final cut-in engineering processing.
-Work collaboratively with Software Design, Test Design, Production Operations, Global Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Integration Test & Evaluation teams to accomplish scope objectives.It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).Telecommuting opportunities can vary depending on daily tasking.   • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Extensive experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry.
  • Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.
  • Ability to travel approx. 10% of time domestically.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance

Desired skills

  • Experience with troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics
  • Experience leading failure investigation, root cause and corrective action.
  • Working knowledge of lab equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, DMM, signal Generators, spectrum analyzers
  • Certified or working knowledge of Control Account Management (CAM)
  • Pervious Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and Production readiness testing.
  • Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigation
  • Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification
  • Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting.
  • Familiarity with the transition from development to production, including the resolution of design issues and optimization for mass production.
  • Prior experience with Lockheed Martin programs or similar defense contractors is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with potential for future technical leadership roles.
